Shane O’Grady began his mortgage career in 1995 with Norwest Bank. He ventured out with a business partner in 1998 to start Choice One Mortgage. Choice One would go on to employ over 600 loan officers through 35 locations in the southwest, and eventually sold in 2006.

Shane then moved on to the world of Investment Banking where he was hired as a Senior Advisor for Houlihan Smith which would later become Madison

Street Capital, out of Chicago Illinois. There he advised the owners of middle-market companies on M&A and private equity transactions.

To spend more time at home, Shane opened Life Changer Loan Corp. He is passionate about the “life changing” results his clients get with the Life Changer Loan and loves educating homeowners about an alternative option to traditional home finance.

Shane is former division 1 college athlete and started at the University of Wyoming and later transferred and finished at Arizona State University.

Kelly Bast began her career as a loan processor for Chase in Santa Maria, CA in the early 2000’s. She transitioned into the Phoenix commercial real estate market in 2005, training as a commercial real estate broker with Sperry Van Ness. With the change of the economic tide, her career evolved into commercial leasing and management.

Her most recent role was a General Manager for JLL and is responsible for the day-to-day management of JLL’s industrial assets in Arizona and Nevada. Ms.

Bast provided exceptional real estate related services to clientele including property management, facilities and construction management, high touch customer service, leasing, lease administration, identifying and maximizing cost savings opportunities, capital projects and property/portfolio level financial reporting.

Ms. Bast brings a wealth of knowledge to our portfolio based upon 15 years of progressive experience in property management, specifically in managing institutional industrial property portfolios and business development. Her experience includes managing large industrial portfolios with RREEF, Invesco , IIT, Brookfield and Dermody.
Prior to joining JLL, Kelly was employed with Coldwell Banker Commercial Asset Services, formerly Voit Asset Services. Ms. Bast’s role included working closely with city planning, building departments and contractors. She is skilled in contract negotiations, creating and implementing policy and procedures, vendor and contract administration, tenant relations, business planning and financial reporting.

Before joining JLL, Kelly’s greatest achievement has been the success of the Warner Business Center Renovation. She was able to complete a full makeover of the Class A Industrial flex park in six months. The project was re-branded, renovated and modernized with a capital budget of $1.5 million. Five speculative suites were built out, new signage throughout the park, painting of all the buildings, new asphalt, new landscape design and development of a new park. There is no limit to the time and dedication Kelly offers to her clients.

Ms. Bast is a licensed Arizona and Nevada Real Estate Salesperson and has the State of Nevada Real Estate Property Management License. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business from The Ohio State University. She has earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) Designation from IREM (International Real Estate Management) and has been a member for six years. Kelly was the two time TOBY award recipient for Government Office Building in 2012 and 2013.

Ms. Bast has decided to return the lending side of real estate and apply her past knowledge of residential mortgage and commercial real estate to build a new company, Life Changer Loan.
